GLOBAL CHILDREN'S HEALTH, INC.

Promoting, and providing holistic, alternative, and other healthcare services and supplies to needy children around the world.

ABOUT

Our Mission

Global Children's Health, Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes including, without limitation, supporting, promoting, and providing holistic, alternative, and other healthcare services and supplies to needy children around the world. Though we primarily target orphans or those with only one or no functional parent to care for them, we will also service healthcare needs in emergency and disaster situations.

We provide and improve  holistic and alternative healthcare delivery, education, training, and information to and for the benefit of such children and their local healthcare providers.

Medical Assistance for Poor and Needy Children

Global Children's Health, Inc. will assemble teams of doctors, support staff, and other healthcare specialists who will travel to destinations around the world to provide healthcare, nutritional and health educational needs to children living in remote orphanages and villages which are underserved or not serviced by larger organizations such as Feed the Children and UNICEF.  GCH does not intend to compete with larger, pre-existing aid and health organizations but rather to serve populations that are not large enough to warrant attention from the large humanitarian organizations.

Post-Disaster Healthcare Delivery

GCH anticipates that it will visit regions that have been affected by disaster 18 months to two years post-disaster to evaluate the more long-term healthcare and other needs of the population in those regions. Many post-disaster areas receive acute care immediately and so those needs are met. GCH will work to ensure that these same communities receive the follow-up services necessary to maintain the healthcare requirements of the population.

KEY PEOPLE

Dr. Suzanne Seekins has been a holistic family physician since 1990, mostly in the community of Naples, Florida. She is an internationally renowned instructor and lecturer on pregnancy and pediatric holistic healthcare. She has experience serving on an international nonprofit organization Board of Directors for the past 15 years, serving as President for a total of six years. Having raised her own four children, she now intends to devote much of her free time to serving the needs of the orphanage communities around the globe. Her passion for providing top-quality holistic care will continue as she addresses the healthcare needs of underprivileged children.

Her vision and mission is to empower the care team at the orphanages to incorporate local and traditional healing methods and medicines into the daily care of the children, decreasing the reliance upon Western medicine-often  expensive and hard to acquire with donations. Her outreach will include education on local herbs that could be utilized and cultivated to increase nutritional baselines of the children and to provide affordable and effective remedies for chronic and acute illnesses of that particular region.

Sustainable, alternative healthcare and nutritional optimization provided to underserved children is her paramount goal in founding and developing Global Children’s Health.

Dr. Seekins will also lead and organize teams of holistic and conventional healers/practitioners of any type to participate in weeklong or longer trips to provide care to the orphans and staff at the orphanages.
